I've just installed Race 07 again and it's fantastic. How could I have forgotten how epic this game was? Maybe someone is up for a quick blast around some circuit, preferably in one of the slower cars (slower Caterhams, retro cars, etc.)? I'm not really in serious racing mood (+ I've only just reinstalled the game after not playing it for 3 years), but I could use a few people on the track. ;) We could even do voice chat as long as you promise not to mock me for my accent.

Race 07 was one of the most popular sim games of the last few years. It's not young, but still extremely fun. Race: Injection is basically a compilation of all the expension packs released for Race 07.

Been wanting to get this game since it came out... Back then, I didn't have a PC to support it (before mid 2010, I was using a 1999 Dell Dimension 4100...), after I got my current PC, I kinda got confused with the amount of expansion packs released for it.
I see it's super cheap on Steam right now (just 7 reais)... What would you recommend I pick up if I wanted to build a "complete edition" of sorts, with the base game and every possible expansion but without buying the same thing twice? Or there is a complete edition available already that my search-fu hasn't been able to find?

From what I can tell Race: Injection is the complete thing (or at least nearly complete).
I personally bought the game twice. First, years ago as a pack of Race 07 and GTR Evolution, and now a few months ago as Race: Injection.

Just had another look. Seems like Injection does not contain the GTR Evolution expension pack, but I'm not actually sure. Still, it's as complete an edition as you can get without buying multiple items.

After some research I conclude that Injection pack omits 2 of the expansions - GTR Evolution (contains the Nurburgring) and Race On (basically an American expansion).

Other than being a pre expanded edition, are there any differences between Race 07 and Injection? Like updated graphics or anything like that? It was released justa couple years ago, and I'm afraid my PC might not be able to run it if it's updated.

I have no idea, to be honest, but the game does look quite dated. If there are some enhancements they're not ground breaking.

Race 07 and the expansions it is then. I was able to track them all on Steam, plus Formula Raceroom at Simbin's homepage, for a nice total of the base game, plus 9 expansions.

Haha, it's cool, I don't mind it looking dated at all, that's the only way I'll ever be able to play it anyways. Also, it's not like I've stopped playing my old videogames already.

I'll see when I can get online, probably no sooner than next weekend though, as I still have two finals this semester... Pharmacology, which should be sweet and smooth to pass, and Neurology which will be, well, a little more complicated than that. A lot more complicated, haha.

Yes. I believe Race 07 is included.
